"The Shape of Things" by Neil Labute
7.30pm Wednesday 7th July - Eastney Cellars, Portsmouth
7.30pm Thursday 15th July - The Ferryman, Warsash, Southampton

The Shape of Things premiered at the Almeida Theatre, London in 2001.

With a total of four roles the play intricately weaves the lives of Adam, Evelyn, Jenny and Phillip to discover that their relationships aren’t what they seem, exposing the raw meat and gristle that lie beneath. The plays quick pace and self-absorbed relationships conceals the shocking twist the characters have to face and makes you ask yourself,

How far would you go for love? For art? What would you be willing to change? Which price might you pay?

"Two" by Jim Cartwright
7.30pm Friday 16th July - The Ferryman, Warsash, Southampton
7.30pm Sunday 18th July - The Florence Arms, Southsea
7.30pm Monday 26th July - Eastney Cellars, Portsmouth
7.30pm Tues 27th-Wed 28th July - Rosies Vineyard, Southsea

Set over one evening in a bar, this powerful play explores the relationship and unresolved crisis in the life of the Landlord and Landlady as they struggle to run a busy town pub and deal with a traumatic event in their past - a catastrophic event they haven't talked about in 8 years. With just 2 actors the evening at the local is brought alive as the cast become 12 other characters - punters coming to the pub for a drink or two and sharing their individual stories!!! Bitter sweet comedy mixes with poignant sadness and barely suppressed violence to show "life as it is".
